The Imías Municipal Health Directorate is in charge of complying with and enforcing in the territory the regulations, procedures, principles and methods that govern health services, hygiene and epidemiology; prioritizing the needs of the population and the proper functioning of services. It implements and controls the strategies and programs of MINSAP, executes the activities of medicines, medical effects, electromedicine, as well as the services of assurance and support for its management, controls compliance with the norms and procedures of narcotic substances.
