The feast of the boar, endemic festive act, was born in 1930; Among its founders are Pedro Frómeta Pérez “Pedro Paquita”; Juan Frómeta Pérez “Juan Paco, Calixto Frómeta Jiménez, Reginaldo Frómeta Jiménez, Jesús Matos Sánchez and Rafael Matos Sánchez, among others. This artistic expression offered an image of the situation of those moments; the plot was represented in the following way:

El Berraco is the main agent, this character covers himself with guineo leaves all over his body and puts on a pig's jaw, painting his face and arms with charcoal soot; two or three other people represent the dogs.

When hunters kill the animal while hunting, the owner announces the lowest-rated meat parts and price; as the poor peasants who did not have money to eat, could not buy first or second meat, they could not compete by buying those with which at the time they already had one or other businesses. Those who had gone into the hunt and sale of the berraco were going through the neighborhood with a sack or backpack, where they collected food, smoked jerky, fat and other food.

In the end the promoters of the activity ended in a big meal and with it a party. The man who made the costume of Berraco was not ruled out by advertising. An indefinite group of people, including children and women, also participated. In all these festivals, the contending neighbors put their utmost effort and the meals were meats, in greater coincidence the poultry fricassee and the very Cuban spit-roasted pigs, as well as Carta Blanca rum as a drink; although there were times when Bacardi and Yunque rum were consumed, those accompanied by food. As a custom, several days of celebration were spent, depending on the time of the festivities.
