“Socialism is worth defending because it is the answer to the need for a more just, equitable, balanced and inclusive world; it is the real possibility of designing with intelligence and sensitivity a space where everyone fits and not only those who have the resources’, expressed the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Miguel Díaz Canel Bermúdez in the 8th Congress of the organization. Ideas that were ratified by the residents of Najecial in Imías, upon receiving yesterday, May 26, the resources of the International Collaboration Project for Rural Electrification.
This is how a dream comes true in one of the three mountain communities of Imías that will benefit from this project, with Arroyo de Carlos and Jobo Arriba still pending. Among the benefits that residents of Najecial already enjoy are: the installation of a refrigerator, a television, mixers, fans, radio, among others, thanks to the operation of these photovoltaic panels that have a power of 2 , 5kwatts."Climb hills, sister men," said Martí as he passed through these beautiful places of the imiense geography, a phrase that today is evident by those who live here and who extend bridges of solidarity and brotherhood by embracing the idea and supporting its realization. Actions like these demonstrate, once again, the greatness of our Revolution and of our Socialist Social System, which in the midst of the adversities imposed by the economic, material and financial blockade and the pandemic caused by Covid 19, continues to bet on contributing men and women the greatest amount of happiness possible.
